Turkish and Iranian Presidents Abdullah Gul and Hassan Rouhani met at the 68th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Trend reports.
Gul emphasized the importance of cooperation between Turkey and Iran. He noted the positive nature of statements Iran made about the West. Gul expressed hope that Iran would not change its attitude towards the West.
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmed Davutoglu and Minister for Development Cevdet Yilmaz took part in the meeting.
