Azerbaijani and Uzbek diplomats held political consultations on the priority issues of cooperation at a meeting in Baku on September 24-25, Trend reports.
They paid special attention to agreements signed by Uzbek President Islam Karimov in Azerbaijan in October 2012. The documents include a joint declaration and a cooperation program of the Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in 2013-2015.
The two states have 115 bilateral agreements in place to cooperate in the political, commercial, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian fields.
