Abdurakhmanov re-elected as Speaker of Chechen Parliament

Dukuvakha Abdurakhmanov was re-elected as the Speaker of the Chechen Parliament yesterday, the Chechen parliament reports.

Abdurakhmanov was a candidate of the United Russia, Khamzat Dadayev of the A Fair Russia Party. Abdurakhmanov got unanimous votes.

Chechen Head Ramzan Kadyrov approved the parliament’s choice.

Salman Zakriyev was re-elected as the Vice Speaker.

Ziyad Sabsabi became the Chechen representative at the Federation Council of Russia.
