Collective Security Treaty Organization's forces receive right to act abroad

The Collective Forces of Operational Reaction of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) have received the right to take part in military operations outside the territory of the alliance, Deputy Secretary General of the CSTO Gennady Nevyglas says.

 

"Our peacekeeping contingent has been formed and trained. In October there will be mass drills. Our contingent will be soon examined by the UN and after that receive the right to perform outside our territory," he said.
