US and Iranian presidents discuss nuclear crisis

For the first time since 1979 the presidents of the United States and Iran have held bilateral talks, the BBC reports.

Barack Obama and Hassan Rouhani have discussed the situation surrounding the Iranian nuclear programme.

The two presidents have reportedly agreed to enhanced efforts to find a diplomatic way out of the crisis.
