On the threshold of the coming APEC summit scheduled for October 7-8, Russia's envoy to the body Valery Sorokin held a press conference, at which he explained the main issues the attendees of the summit will focus on.
According to the official, there are four such issues.
The first such issue is development of a multilateral trade system, he said. The second priority is the formation of open trade and investment activity in the region. The third is the pursuit of stable economic growth based on justice. The final aim is the establishment of a joint Asian and Pacific community.
