Iran and Qatar call for cooperation between Islamic states

The Iranian president and the emir of Qatar called for cooperation between Islamic states against regional and global threats in a telephone conversation, Trend reports, citing the site of the channel Press TV.


In the telephone conversation with the emir of Qatar Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani on Thursday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad expressed interest in expanding ties between the two states, IRNA reports.
