Ilgar Gajiyev, Executive Director of the All-Russian Azerbaijani Congress, said at a concert at the Kolonny Hall of the House of Unions that the Azerbaijani community in Russia was solidary with Azerbaijan in their choice of president on October 9.
The official said that, according to social polls, 87% of the Azerbaijani population were supporting President Ilham Aliyev. He reminded that the recent visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Azerbaijan proved existence of common strategic interests.
