Armenia has taken preventive measures against cholera in Megri and Zvartnots Airport to avoid any outbreaks, News Armenia reports.
740 passengers from the Megri Checkpoint (Syunik Region) and 170 taking the Tehran-Yerevan flight have been checked. 435 citizens on their way to Iran were consulted.
The State Hygiene and Anti-Infection Inspection and the Center for Prevention of Especially Dangerous Infections of the Healthcare Ministry organized special seminars for border guards.
Russian officers serving in the area received special information materials on cholera symptoms and way to prevent the disease.
