Alexey Zhuravlyov and Sergey Zhigaryov of the United Russia Party introduced a bill to ban children of migrants evading taxes from nurseries and schools in parliament today, Interfax reports.
The children will need to present a document from the Federal Tax Service at school.
The MPs want to pass changes in articles 67 and 78 of the federal law on education.
Pavel Astakhov, Russian Ombudsman for Children, said that all people were equal and Russia should restore the policy of internationalism with account of European mistakes.
