Russian ships to make unofficial visit to Aktau

Russian missile ship Dagestan and the hydrographic vessel GS 194 of the Caspian Fleet have left Makhachkala and will make an unofficial visit to Port Aktau (Kazakhstan), passing over 1500 miles, RIA Novosti reports.

They will check navigation equipment and local buoys.

This will be the fourth exchange of visits for Russian and other Caspian ships in 2013. Iran and Azerbaijan visited Astrakhan in June and September, the Dagestan missile ship visited Baku in August.
