Iran will have nuclear weapons in a year, Obama says

It will take at least a year for Iran to develop nuclear weapons, US President Barack Obama said, with reference to the US intelligence agencies.

In so doing the US president contradicted reports by the Israeli intelligence agencies that Iran will have a nuclear bomb within the next few months.
