Russian President Vladimir Putin is marking his 61st birthday at the APEC summit in Bali today, ITAR-TASS reports.
His spokesman Dmitry Peskov expressed hope for at lest half an hour before midnight to wish the president a happy birthday.
Putin has never had a day off for his birthday, except for when he marked his 55th birthday at the Kremlin, where he organized a small dinner for his staff. Putin explained that the more he worked, the more he realized that there was still a lot to do.
