Abkhaz prosecutor general approves charges against suspected attackers of prime minister

The Abkhaz prosecutor general approved charges against Anzor Butba, Tamaz Bartsits, Edlar Chitanav, Ramzi Khashig, Astamur Khutab, Alkhas Khutab, Rustan Gitsba, Murtaz Sakania, Almasbey Kchach today, Yuga.ru reports.


The group is suspected of attempts to assassinate Abkhaz Prime Minister Alexander Ankvab on 9th of July 2007, in August and November 2011, in January 2012, on 22nd February of 2012. Ankvab's bodyguards Remzik Tsugba and Tengiz Pandaria died.


The group was formed by Pavel Ardzinba. He is on the wanted list with Rubshey Bartsits.


The case against them includes 43 tomes, over 1,000 pages of accusations, over 50 objects related to the case. Over 1,000 investigative acts were carried out.
