Sergey Lebedev, Executive Secretary of the CIS and head of the CIS monitoring mission in Azerbaijan, said that the presidential polls were well-organized and democratic.
He noted that no violations had been registered. Those who were unable to cast votes at polling stations due to age or illness were visited by electoral officials.
Lebedev said that relations between Azerbaijan and Russia were good and expressed hope that they will improve.
