Kabardino-Balkarian acting Prime Minister Irina Maryash said that the republic will forum a council for preservation of the Kabardino-Circassian and Karachay-Balkarian languages, ITAR-TASS reports.
Kabardino-Balkaria passed the bill on languages in July. It guarantees the preservation of the Kabardian and Balkarian languages.
Legislators proposed supplementation of the program for cultural development until 2017 with articles on protection of material heritage and conceptual framework (language, traditions, customs, dances).
