Turnout at Azerbaijani presidential elections hits 72 percent

The turnout at today's presidential elections held in Azerbaijan has reached 72.31 percent, the country's Central Electoral Commission says.

Some 3.72 million people took part in the vote. According to exit polls, incumbent President Ilham Aliyev won the elections with more than 80 percent of the votes.
