Lord Michael German of the British House of Lords said that he had monitored the elections since Tuesday morning, visited polling stations in Baku and a regional station. He called the elections well-organized and meeting international standards.
The lord noted motivation of the voters. Many people came to cast votes with confidence that the elections will be fair. Lord Michael German added that there was great potential to encourage more talks about public problems affecting people on the election day.
