The Belarusian president, Alexandr Lukashenko, has claimed that his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev distorted his words concerning recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, reports Interfax. He insists that he only asked the Russian President, whether Russia could help reduce any problems, which could occur if Belarus recognizes the Caucasian Republics.
