Stepanavan (Armenia) will host an Armenian-Georgian conference on regional cooperation of the Eastern Partnership members and the program for regional development, News.am reports.
The program focuses on trans-border cooperation of administrations, inhabitants of regions, civil officials to solve common problems.
The talks will be attended by Vache Terteryan, Georgian Deputy Minister for Territorial Administration, Tengiz Shergelashvili, Georgian Deputy Minister for Regional Development and Infrastructure, heads of local autonomy administrations, public officials and EU experts.
The conference is financed by the Eastern Partnership Program for Regional Cooperation sponsored by the EU. Similar programs are realized in the formats of Georgia-Azerbaijan, Belarus-Ukraine, Moldova-Ukraine.
