Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan will visit Moscow today and meet Russian Vice Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov and chairman of the board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Victor Christenko, RIA Novosti reports.
They will discuss Armenia’s membership in the Customs Union. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev discussed expansion of cooperation within the framework of the Customs Union on Wednesday. The sides discussed bilateral cooperation in trade and energy.
The Armenian government passed the program of priority actions needed to join the Customs Union. 7 working groups will be formed to consider cooperation opportunities.
