UN wants joint mission for Syria with OPCW

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon approved the idea of the UN Security Council to form a joint mission with the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) to deal with Syrian chemical weapons, said Russian representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin, Interfax reports.

Azerbaijani representative to the UN Agshin Mamedov was ordered to prepare a special letter with details of the project for Ban Ki-moon.
