Russia today needs a national policy that primarily relies on the implementation of social and economic policy, the leader of the Russian communist party, Gennady Zyuganov, said in an interview to Vestnik Kavkaza.
"If someone does not have work, does not know the language or if there are no conditions for a normal life, he will be sure to become a criminal... The policy of a multinational country should be well thought out, developed and implemented," the politician said.
In this regard, he said, there is a need for more specialists and competent people.Earlier, at a press conference organized by "Interfax", the politician said that he believes that the events which occured in Biryulyovo are very similar to the events which occured on Manezh Square two years earlier. He said the financial, economic and migration policies of recent times were the main reasons for the unrest. Zyuganov also suggested using the migration policies of Belarus.
Gennady Zyuganov also said that multi-ethnic questions in a multi-ethnic state "should be regulated by the state so that everyone respects each other, listens carefully to each other. This concerns the language, customs, traditions, culture and many other things."
