Abdullah al-Muallem, Saudi Arabian Ambassador to the UN, said that Iran should stop supporting regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Trend reports.
Al-Muallem accused Iran of using Hezbollah to interfere in Arab affairs. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said that the organization will continue supporting the regime in the fight against the rebels. Syrian oppositionists attacked Shiite areas of Beirut and promised to attack other areas in Lebanon.
Lebanese President Michel Suleiman said that Hezbollah was a Lebanese resistance group and had no operations in Syria.
