Today the 42nd battalion of the Georgian Military Forces returned home after spending six months in Afghanistan. The soldiers were welcomed by Georgia's Defense Minister Irakly Alasania at Tbilisi Airport.
The official addressed the soldiers and thanked them for their service.
"I proud to say that these brave soldiers serve professionally and contribute much to the security of the region and their country," he said.
