Chechnya wants to keep own air company


Chechnya has not supported the initiative of the Russian Transport Ministry of creating a regional air company and wants to keep the existing one, claimed the Speaker of the Chechen Parliament Dukuvakha Abdurakhmanov, reports RIA-Novosti. The project was intented to eliminate small regional companies due to their low efficiency and create unified air company. The Chechen airline company “Grozny Avia” works since 2007, possessing several Yak-42 airplanes.
