Moscow mayor offers plan to move all vegetable warehouses

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that disorders at Biryulyovo on Sunday had been provoked by high density of migrants working at the Pokrovskaya Vegetable Warehouse and trigger by murder of Yegor Shcherbakov, Vedomosti reports.

The mayor proposed a plan to replace all vegetable warehouses with automatic warehouses and move out of the city. The facilities should be checked more often than it is allowed in the 2010 law on reduction of administrative pressure, Sobyanin believes.

The Russian government is developing measures to intensify inspections from once per three years to once every year.
