Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said at a meeting with editors-in-chief today that Georgy Margvelashvili, a candidate for president of the Georgian Dream coalition, had no need to take part in the second round of votes, should one be organized, Trend reports.
Ivanishvili has no doubts in Margvelashvili’s win with at least 60% of votes.
The prime minister encouraged people to be active voters. He added that there were chances of David Bakradze of the United National Movement winning. In this case, according to Ivanishvili, Mikheil Saakashvili would become a candidate for Prime Minister.
