The Georgian Central Electoral Commission changed the rules for photographing and filming at polling stations yesterday, Trend reports.
Cameramen and photographers may enter and leave polling stations freely at the upcoming presidential elections. Smaller rooms will have special places for them if the distance between them and voters cannot exceed 3 meters.
The changes in the rules for photographing and filming were initiated by Georgian NGOs on Wednesday. They believe that existing norms caused obstacles for mass media.
