Martin Nerisky, spokesman of the UN Secretary General, said that UN peacekeeper Carl Campeau, a Canadian legal advisor of the COOHHP for Israel and Syria who was kidnapped in February 2013, has been freed from Syrian militants, ITAR-TASS reports.
Nesirky did not confirm the exact details.
