Signakhi (Georgia) opened the Azerbaijani-Georgian youth festival today. Georgian Minister for Youth and Sports Levan Kipiani and Azerbaijani Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Intigam Babayev held a joint press conference yesterday, News Azerbaijan reports.
The festival was organized to improve cooperation in Georgian and Azerbaijani youth and sports affairs, to exchange information about culture.
100 young people per state are taking part in the festival. An art and cuisine exhibition will be organized. The sides plan to sign the action plan for 2014-2015 for realization of the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in youth and sports affairs.
A concert will conclude the festival.
