A delegation of the European Parliament's lawmakers is going to arrive in the Iranian capital of Tehran in order to hold talks with Iran's top officials, Iranian state-owned media outlet Press TV reports.
A delegation of three Socialist lawmakers headed by Hannes Swoboda is expected arrive in Tehran on Saturday for a four-day visit.
The lawmakers are scheduled to hold meetings with Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani, Chairman of the Parliamentary National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Alaeddin Boroujerdi and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
