Poets arrested in Tbilisi protest

Several young Georgian poets were arrested yesterday for organizing a rally on Tbilisi's George Bush Street, demanding it be renamed. This action would not have attracted any attention from authorities if its participants hadn't stained a picture of the US ex-president with black paint, 'Gazeta.ru' reports.

The action also involved poetry-reading.

Four young poets, including their leader Irakly Kakabadze, were arrested.
