Terrorist attack in Volgograd committed by suicide bomber

According to the preliminary information, it was a suicide bomber who committed an attack on a bus in Volgograd today, the Investigative Committee of the Volgograd region has announced.

"She had recently converted to Islam and was the wife of one of the warlords," Interfax quotes the authorities.

As of 4:05 pm local time, 27 people had been taken to hospital, including eight in serious condition, five people died at the scene, RIA Novosti reports.
