Natalya Timakova, spokeswoman of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, has denied reports about the resignation of Russian Chief Sanitary Inspector Gennady Onishchenko, RIA Novosti reports.
Onishchenko’s terms of office expire, but his reappointment or dismissal is in the hands of Medvedev.
Inofmration about resignation of the official and his deputy Anna Popova’s becoming the acting Chief Sanitary Inspector came from Vice Prime Minister Olga Golodets.
