Alexander Gorbenko, Moscow Deputy Mayor for regional security and information policy, proposed rewriting of the law on migration, instead of congesting it with numerous amendments and modernization initiatives, RIA Novosti reports.
He said that the law should be composed from the very beginning, with account of all the risks of increased migration flows. Gorbenko reminded that about 50 amendments had been passed for the law in less than two years.
The official added that Moscow was ready to take an active part in composition of the new law.
