The Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare will be disolved after resignation of its chief Gennady Onishchenko, said Alexey Levehcnko, spokesman of Russian Vice Prime Minister Olga Golodets ITAR-TASS reports.
Epidemiological supervision may become a regional obligation, agricultural monitoring may be passed over to the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, medical and sanitarycontrol may be taken over by the Healthcare Ministry.
Onishchenko may still remain the chief doctor of Russia. He resigns as the chief sanitary inspector due to his age of 60.
