David Bakradze, the Georgian presidential candidate from the opposition United National Movement party founded by Mikheil Saakashvili, has called for better relations with Russia.
According to Bakradze, along with his competitor from the ruling Georgian Dream coalition he supports the idea of successful dialogue with Russia but underlines that this dialogue should be based on Georgia's national interests.
Russia should respect Georgia's independence and European integration, Bakradze notes.
