Turnover at Georgian presidential elections hits 32 percent

Turnout at the ongoing presidential elections in Georgia had reached 32 percent as of 3 p.m. local time, the former Soviet nation's Central Electoral Commission says in a statement.

23 candidates are running for president. The front runners are Georgy Margelashvili from the ruling Georgian Dream coalition, former Parliamentary Speaker Nino Burdzhanadze and David Bakradze from the United National Movement party, founded by incumbent President Mikheil Saakashvili.
