Iran: Sanctions Won't Halt Nuclear Plans

Iran's top nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili has warned that international sanctions will not prevent the Islamic republic from pursuing its atomic activities, reports Sky News.

Nuclear envoy Saeed Jalili, in Beijing for talks with Chinese officials, told the West to stop "threatening" Tehran over its programme.

"Many issues came up in talks on which China accepted Iran's position," Mr Jalili told reporters after talks with Chinese officials, including foreign minister Yang Jiechi.
