Lavrov: Russia is ready for constructive dialogue with U.S. on missile defense

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Russia is ready for constructive dialogue with the U.S. and NATO on missile defense at the eight meeting of the Russian - Ukrainian subcommittee on international cooperation. However, he stated that talks leading to no conclusions and actions from the US side will not satisfy Russia. 
Lavrov said that Russia intends to strengthen all aspects of its strategic stability, regional stability as well as to neutralize dangers by political and diplomatic means, RIA Novosti reports.

Regarding the cooperation between Russia and NATO, Lavrov said that there are a number of practical cooperation projects. "However, I would say that this relationship is still lacking strategic depth and understanding of the interdependence of all European countries in the field of security ," Lavrov said.
