Newly-elected Georgian president to attend Vilnius summit of Eastern Partnership

Newly-elected Georgian President Georgy Margvelashvili is going to head the Georgian delegation at the coming summit of the Eastern Partnership that is scheduled to be held in Vilnius.


This trip willl be Margelashvili's first official visit abroad. 


The President-elect has already voiced the country's committment to the idea of European integration. 


"Europe is our choice and this election is a confirmation of our European course,” Margvelashvili is quoted as saying by Euronews.
