Israel feels changes in Iran

General Aviv Kochavi, Director of Israeli Military Intelligence, presented a report on political and economic developments in Iran to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The report was composed several days ahead of Netanyahu’s departure for the UN General Assembly.

The document states that Iran started moving towards a more open and ambitious dialogue with the West after electing Hassan Rouhani as the President. The changes have nothing to do with Iran’s attempts to build an atomic bomb, says the report. Kochvi is optimistic about the positive impact of changes in Iran.

Israel will continue enforcing international sanctions against Iran as long as uranium enrichment in the Islamic state continues.
