Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili met President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso in Brussels yesterday, Trend reports.
Barroso expressed hope that Georgia and the EU will sign the association agreement at the Vilnius summit of the Eastern Partnership. He noted success in development of democracy and enforcement of law during presidency of Saakashvili. The EU official assured that Georgia had achieved greater stability and development.
The sides hope that the association agreement will be signed in November 2014.
