Number of terrorist attacks in Russia halved in 3 years

Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev reported on progress in fighting terrorism at a session of the Federation Council, RIA Novosti reports.He said that the number of terrorism-related crimes had halved in the past 3 years. However, the recent suicide bombing of a bus in Volgograd needed special attention and efforts to prevent such acts in the future, he concluded.
