Head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergey Mikheyev has read out the message of President Vladimir Putin at the World Congress of Russian People in Moscow, RIA Novosti reports.
In his message, Putin highlighted consolidation, cooperation, patriotism, citizenship, interethnic peace, good neighbourliness and mutual respect as the values firmly keeping the country together. He said that only ethical and spiritual grounds allowed the country to move forward towards its goals.
Putin noted that the congress was attended by the Russian Orthodox Church, other traditional religions, politicians, scientists, teachers and leaders of public organizations.
