Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Ruslan Demchenko met in Baku on Thursday and discussed the prospects of Azerbaijani-Ukrainian relations.
The Ukrainian diplomat expressed confidence in the development of cooperation between the two countries after the appointment of the new government in Azerbaijan, Trend cites the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
The parties also discussed the upcoming meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, as well as noting the importance of strengthening the mechanisms for consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries and the organization of mutual visits.
