Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev decorated former Turkish president Süleyman Demirel with the order of Sharaf for promoting mutual friendship, the Azerbaijani president's official website reports.
The order of Sharaf was established by President Aliyev on February 16th 2008 in order to award those who contributed much to the formation of Azerbaijani statehood, science, culture and art.
