Dagestani President Ramazan Abdulatipov says gender inequality is the reason why women are often used by militants as suicide bombers.
According to the Dagestani leader, the militants treat their wives and women in general as a catch and not as equal human beings.
In order to combat this tendency, Dagestan should increase the social role of women, Abdulatipov says.
