The Iranian authorities are going to check reports saying that the United States has been spying on the Islamic Republic's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Iranian foreign ministry's press secretary Marzeh Afham says.
According to the reports, the Iranian leader was spied on during his visit to the North-Western province of Kurdistan.
